There's a biting wind outside and the days are just about as short as they'll be all year... which can only mean one thing: Old Man Scrooge has once again set up shop in Chester's little brewery, and he's meaner than ever!
Under the watchful eye of our holiday hating, super stingy, temporary boss, we present to you yet another rendition of our annual winter warmer ale. "Scrooge" is brewed with a heap of tart red cherries and loads of fresh maple syrup from Fat Stone Farm in Lyme, CT. Then, as is tradition, we conditioned it on cinnamon sticks and vanilla beans, and let it settle in for a long, cold slumber on hard maple wood. Whether you can't wait for this holiday season to end, or you never want it to be over - this beer is meant for sharing with loved ones and good food....or, you could just enjoy it by yourself: inside, with the lights off, and the blinds tightly closed...either way, we promise not to tell!
From all of us here at Little House, we wish you Happy Holidays, and cheers to a new year!
