Bonne p'tite Scotch Ale vieillit en fût de Scotch. On goûte bien l'érable sans que ce soit trop sucré, avec une belle présence du Scotch. Au froid la barrique était pas trop intense.

Superbe Wee-Heavy à l'érable! La texture onctueuse est chaleureusement épicée, boisée, sucrée à l'érable et au bonbon caramel. L'alcool est en abondance sans excès. La finale est plutôt sèche et (trop) fumée. Néanmoins, le vieillissement à été bénéfique!

Decent wee heavy but unfortunately muddled by the smoke flavour. The scotch and maple syrup flavours barely come through. Decent overall but could have been much better with less smoke.
