When I saw a ‘Wild pale ale’ on offer at Be.Re, a crafty haven just outside the Vatican, I was all in. What a flavoursome beast! It’s so pronounced it teeters on cidery levels of fruity. Definitely a mighty shower but a true hoot nonetheless.

Hoppy, slightly metallic and a bit stuffy on the nose. Still has notes of hay and mushrooms. Taste-wise it’s hoppy, dry, fresh and peppery. Has some sweetness to it and is overall well rounded.
