Jasmine Rice Lager

This one pours in a light straw color with a pillowy white head. It’s crisp and clean lager fermentation profile goes well with the nose of light biscuit and honey, all underpinned by delicate floral aromas of Jasmine flowers and lychee fruit. On the palate, a soft rounded mouthfeel and a balancing bitterness. The overall tea flavor on the beer is mild, as to complement the rice aspect of the beer, making this a very easy drinking, refreshing and fragrant beer - if you like Jasmine.
The idea behind this one was to brew a Japanese rice lager. This meant that we would have to add rice, so why not a fancy rice like Jasmine rice, and while we were playing with Jasmine rice, the thought of Jasmine tea came to mind.
And so now you can say that you were in San Antonio, in a somewhat German brewery, drinking a Japanese Lager, brewed with Thai Jasmine Rice and dry hopped with Chinese Jasmine Tea. Show Less
