18 months later and this is great. Heat is still there surprisingly. If I ever remake this, less heat more sweetness.
J Laz: Guess it's almost time to crack ours then!
Jeremy Klausing: J L.😮 get on it! Still very spicy but nice and dry. Stout forward vs honey

This thing has some heat! I’m not big on a lot of chili’s but the base of this along with other adjuncts were so well put together I really enjoyed this. Drinks like a RIS and is sweet and spicy but somehow the flavors all compliment well.

So much better than a few weeks ago. Spiciness is mellowing out and the roastiness is coming through

I think this is the first braggot I’ve had. More heat than I like in my beer/mead
Jeremy Klausing: Definitely is a bit spicer than I wanted. Hopefully that mellows with age

It’s thick and spicy!
Pretty interesting take. Reads more like a Mexican stout but the subtleties of vanilla and sweetness on the end round it out. Definitely a bit too spicy, but would like to see this idea revisited. 🍻
