Andrew Lord: I don’t what to be “that guy” Tom S. but if you still think all cask beer should be priced by its ABV band, you might just have discovered why you no longer drink cask ale. I do. Wind yer fucking neck in, Tom, the adults are talking.
Andrew Lord: Even a dimpled pint pot (like that I had the best Glasshouse Brew Co beer in on Sat), wouldn’t have saved this rancid nastiness. I fear some shenanigans, by the publican, this cask may have been on sale elsewhere earlier, so don’t blame Kirkstall Jacko!

Andrew Lord: Aye, on many occasions, as you well know. That’s why that little CBC cask price blackboard has asterisks if they have anything that isn’t a tiresome 4g/litre twiggy brown beer. Pricing by ABV bands is probably why you don’t drink cask any more, Tom S.
