Donut Shack (2019)

6.8% IPA inspired by the fantastic apple cider donuts produced by Delicious Orchards. This beer started with a marris otter base malt and a large dose of malted oats and torrefied wheat to help mimic the mouthfeel of a donut. We added lactose and the boiled down apple cider to the boil and hopped it with Mandrina Bavaria in the whirpool. To compliment the fruitiness of the apple cider and the sweetness from the malt, it was then dry-hopped with Sabro, Citra, Citra Cryo and El Dorado. Show Less
