Not surprisingly, very flat. Managed to get a little foam by pouring from height, but it was short-lived. However, it didn't need high carbonation to taste good. Slight sediment as expected, and a really inviting dark mahogany hue. Nose of stewed figs....

Terence Freestone: ....toffee and sherry, giving flavours of the same along with dates, Christmas pudding, oak, muscat and a backnote of earthy booze. I also detected a hint of Seville orange marmalade way after tasting. Beautiful stuff for its age.

Taste like mahogany looks. Tobacco molasses black licorice dates and over ripe plums on the nose

Oh. This tastes like paper and grass. Has a very like umm dirty taste I dunno. It’s still somewhat appealing bc of the sweetness but yea… 2.5.
