This has suffered more oxidation than its sherry casked brother I had last time. Still has a light foamy head, but there are a good few floaters knocking around in it. Nonetheless, the aromas are inviting. Heavy malts, dark fruits and a hint of wood...

Vinous - plums/raisins and sweet grapes - port makes an appearance in the finish. Gorgeous brassy/ruby color but got sediment floaties in the glass while decanting. Not my favorite Harvest Ale.
