Blast of raspberry as soon as the cap comes off of the bottle. Pours opaque darkness with a vaguely ironic pink/tan head. Nose is chocolate and raspberry. Initial taste is quite tart and mostly raspberry. The chocolate and roast comes out as it warms.

Huge raspberry, cocoa, roast nose. Raspberry, light cocoa and roast. Really more of a raspberry beer than anything - wouldn't know it was a stout from the flavor. Still, very fresh, creamy mouthfeel.
