Deep Core Barrel Aged

As the saying goes, “some things just get better with time”, we brewed Deep Core using fresh locally pressed apple cider from Melick's Town Farm and racked it into freshly emptied apple brandy barrels to let it rest and soak in the delightful and complex notes of the barrel. It pours with a deep copper hue bringing the fresh pressed apples to the forefront. Like a leaf falling from the tree, this beer will start with a balance of oak and fresh pressed apples but take an unexpected turn as you experience the sweet, spiced apples that fade into an oaky apple pie finish. This beer is truly unique, just like a brightly colored leaf floating through the fall air. Show Less
