Loads and loads of oak on the nose, with the honey and maple behind it, but muted in comparison. Pushing past the heavy booziness, the oat is actually the prominent note, with some light chocolate behind it. A boozy oaky finish reverberates for a while.

5 oz of a pre-COVID made beer is fine by me. Rich malts with a vinuous lingering spicy roastiness. Smooth and warming but not hot and the flavor just keeps going. Marshmallow and chocolates delicious.
