10-17-2014 bottle date. 15% horsepower! Aged nicely, still strong but slightly mellowed. JA does Lagers like no other. Big bold dark malty.... Thanks to my old trade partner from Boston.

Thin khaki cap on dark body. Smells of burnt sugar, bourbon, vanilla and chocolate. Lots of char and dark chocolate flavors. Feeling the alc heat at the back of the throat. Some complexity lost for sure, but has held up remarkably well over time.

Coronavirus cellar turd day #216. Bottle dated 10/17/14. Other than being completely flat, the taste is fine. It’s a bit boozy, but very little oxidation. Chocolate, booze, and not much else. A strange beer I don’t get, but not awful after 6 years
