MAKnifique

"MAKnifique, the beer that makes you grin!" This oppery Saison strikes a perfect balance between malt and hops. The coppery colour immediately reveals that darker malts were used, which give the beer that delightful aroma. For a refreshing touch, complex hops are used to ensure the necessary bitterness and freshness.

“MAKNIFIQUE” was the only Belgian Saison beer to win a medal at the Asia Beer Challenge awards of 2020 and was awarded a gold medal as the best saison beer at the European Beer Challenge awards in 2020.

What can you expect when you taste? The MAKnifique starts out with a strong, full-bodied flavour, complemented by a robust hoppy taste and, as such, bitterness that dominates (but not in excess). We perceive a strong hint of elderflower, green apple, roasted cereals, as well as roasted chestnuts. As time goes on, the bitterness pleasantly subsides. MAKnifique is a beer that offers a perfectly balanced, mouth-filling taste, with fine bubbles. The scent is rather exotic and sweet, while being pleasantly spicy with a hint of hops and blackberry at the same time.
