Inspired by the flavours of the mighty Pastel de Nata, we decided it was high time we made a pastry stout... with a twist.
Introducing a Vegan-friendly sweet stout. We dispensed with the lactose and worked on the recipe and mash process to produce a rich, complex, roasty stout with none of the astringency.
Then we added sweet cinnamon and vanilla to evoke memories of those delicious custard tarts.
