Spontaneous Dot- Blueberry

This spontaneously fermented American Wild Ale was brewed in the fall of 2016. Brewed w/ barley from Peterson Quality Malt, raw wheat from Nitty Gritty Grain & a few aged hops from Homestead Hops. The wort was driven to Boyer's Orchard in Monkton, next to Peterson Quality Malt’s original malthouse. The wort sat there overnight in a coolship of sorts, providing time & space for the wild yeast & bacteria of the land to inoculate the wort as it rested and temps cooled. This process was repeated in 2017, & after each vintage fermented & developed, they were blended together in the fall of 2018, when the beer was moved onto blueberries from Isham Family Farm in Williston.
