Young William's Vice

A dry, austere stout with subtle notes of chocolate, dark roast coffee, and a hint of toast. An oft-expressive Belgian yeast strain was fermented at cooler-than-typical temperatures to help provide a hint of pepper, bubblegum, and spice. These notes are subtle enough to miss, but add a gentle expressiveness to the beer as whole. We think this subtle approach is more “Belgian” than the over-the-top “Belgian” character that many American consumers might expect. Easy drinking, yet with enough character to keep you interested.
