Purple Robots (Batch 2)

This saison was formed utilizing whole cluster grapes from our Zinfandel 2020 harvest at Cal Poly Pomona. A portion of these grapes were also used in our Saison Human Behavior. We then used the same treatment as our Strawberry Saison, “Wild Pink Robots”. We chose a barrel aged blend of wild ale to combine with the “strawberries and grapes” to undergo a fruit maceration. Our influence behind this saison is a natural wine inspired saison by doing a skin contact spontaneous fermentation with the whole cluster Pomona grown Zinfandel Grapes and combining whole strawberries for 5 weeks. The result is absolutely stunning and beautiful. It provides a unique textural, layered experience, adding subtle tannins from each fruit. Show Less
