I love me a Flanders Red and this is a fantastic example. All that wonderful rich funky tart balsamic character with the Calvados bringing a cidery sweet apple edge along with a dry oak note. Belter 👌 (4.4)

Rich aroma of berries in the bottle, on tasting a significant tartness and balsamic as expected for a Flanders. Smooth warming berries and sherry notes as you progress, lovely drying finish and easy to drink as it hides the 8%.

Ridiculously good Flanders style sour. Subtlety barrel aged, fruity sourness to it. Probably the best Holy Goat I've had. Also goes down a treat for an 8%er.

More a Flanders Black than a Red. Extremely sour. Berry flavours (though none in it) and maybe a hint of Calvados, but not a lot. Did I mention it was sour. Might score higher on a day I was more into that
