An excellent strong ale. Lots of malt notes and weighing in at 8%. A bit reminiscent of Kentish Stong Ale, but better. Kudos to Lark rum. 4.2.

Nelson’s Victory by Holgate Brewhouse another limited taproom release a dank boozy resinous strong ale that was infused with rum soaked oak from the Lark Distillery. That was brewed for GABS in 2018 a 7.5% ABV bloody cracking beer 🍺👍🏼😍

Dark tanned & quick head. Prunes and Belgiany yeast aroma. The Flave profile has a blend of a raspberry rosé wine with that of an oporto wine rested inside a sherry oak barrel. Sweet and dry finish. Brandy and chocolate aftertaste.
