A number of determinants have contributed to the infrequent appearance of Flora in its fundamental form. In many instances, it has served as the ideal complement for various local fruit harvests; occasionally, barrels did not achieve the necessary profile, finding new life in harmonized blends as accent and support; and others were (sadly) destroyed. In a few cases, those barrels that we predicted might reach the appropriate nature of Flora have taken extended conditioning time in bottle before debut.

This is one of those moments.
