Ride the Skies

This IPA is named after the seminal noise album of the same name by the band Lightning Bolt. The hazy IPA fad/trend/future bears strong resemblance to the independent and punk rock music scene of yesteryear, turning traditional standards of quality on their heads and revealing that the people are ready for something new and different. Independent record labels = self distribution and tasting rooms. Non-traditional song structure = hazy beer with short shelf life. Going to the show = drinking fresh local beer. Lightning Bolt is one of Shane's favorite bands that represents these ideas. Tastes the crunchy cantaloupe and overripe papaya. Think about putting some patches on your vest. Show Less
