Dummy Fire

"Dummy Fire" is apparently what means "good" these days. It's the new "hella tight" or "wicked cool". For real, I did not make this up. With any appreciation of the new must come an understanding of the old, and so this big, dry red ale is here to illuminate that elusive bridge between English barley wine and American DIPA. Hit with a silly (dummy?) amount of Centennial and Simcoe hops, the nose is pine and grilled peaches, and the pallet is resinous pine sap and burnt sugar, a little cocoa powder hint on the finish.
