This was lovely 5 years on. A good 40 mins out of the fridge and it had lost the chill to reveal chocolate, oak and umami. Some earthiness balanced by lightly scorched butterscotch flows across the palate. Bottle #082/300

This is still drinking great after 5 years in the bottle, even better as it warms. A lot of smooth, umami flavours with a little something special I can't put my finger on. Maybe a lightly burnt, earthen, fig butterscotch sweetness. Phenomenal drinking!

My God so good. Plump juicy raisins against the dry Belgian yeast. And that's just the beginning... as it warms, roastiness of the malts come through, warmth of the Port barrels & retains a strong ale sweetness that is magnificent. Check in on your mates.
