In the spirit of a Northern English Brown ale; this beer utilizes over 90% Admiral malt which is barley grown in California and crafted on Alameda Island. Pouring a deep brown with mahogany highlights, flavors and aromas of toasted malt, dark chocolate, and subtle roast notes will open up as the beer warms in your glass, balanced subtly with traditional floral and early notes from the english hops and yeast .
