This one opens with a good psssst and pours with a reasonable and everlasting head. Clearly retains some carbonation and pours without sediment. 👃 is sherry, forest fruits, apricots and caramel. Flavours of the same plus prunes, creme caramel, morello...

Sweet amaretto sherry and raisin. Very strong sipper that is really nice! Think I like the base Harvest Ale and its toffee caramel taste better but this is still outstanding!

A juicy fruity blend over heavy leathery toffee. Getting peach brandy, raisiny oak, honey, lemony vanilla and malty sherry, medium body with a fine carbonation. Pithy and sweet blend nicely.

I really wanted to like this, considering my initial JW Lees brew was so impressionable years ago. Smell and App are above average (musty, fermented fruits, faint toffee), taste is good (intense, sweet, strong fruit), but the finish lets it all down.
