Chocolate-dominant with hints of of licorice and brandy coming through. I think the brandy barrels really rounded this out very well, because it is not tasting like an 18.9% stout. A tad thin on mouthfeel, but some silky notes come through.

Lots and lots of chocolate. Very sweet and thick. The expressions of the flavor is good but it’s way too sweet for me and leaves a sweetness on your lips. It’s a shareable bottle.
