Hairy Scary (2017)

At the beginning of every Fall, we brew a rendition of Hairy Scary, a seasonal beer with a bit of a twist. For 2017, we procured mounds of local butternut squash, wet hops and habanero peppers and threw them in our smoker, then added all of that to a plethora of light and dark British malts. Notes of smokey Cuban coffee, light nuttiness, and a slight heat come together in this full body Brown Ale, resulting in a pleasantly unique version of this Fall Beer Classic. Drink your Boos!
