Thanks to Chris .. wood aged great in stouts and barleywines... only done by Oregon breweries... had the original Adam years ago and it was fine, but this was really good because a really sweet base barleywine was aged on wood instead of a bourbon

Really delicious complex barlweywine. Perfectly sweet dense malty character, rich toffee, and a great wood backbone. Only other beer I’ve had with the body of Anabasis. Fantastic. Very excited for the rest of these HOTD.
