drank yesterday but served too cold. ordered a Downhill Ride alongside it so I could let this one warm. Patience pays off warming it opens beautifully. Smooth, rich, with toffee, caramel, and a touch of balsamic dangerous beer, does not drink at 14%+

Rich malt and dried fruit with figs and toffee on the nose. Smooth like sherry, warming without being too sweet. Barrel adds gentle oak and tannins. Tastes even better as it warms. A thoughtful pour worth savoring.
