German hops in an American style double IPA? Why not? We brewed this beer with over 3 lb per barrel of citrusy Mandarina Bavaria, juicy Hull Melon, and tropical Hallertau Blanc throughout the whirlpool and two dry hopping additions. A veritable fruit salad of tangerine, melon, passionfruit, and white grape aromas precede every sip, which gives way to intense flavors of orange gummies, citrus marmalade, and over ripe honeydew melon. With a hefty addition of malted and flaked wheat the beer finishes with the warmth and sweetness of a white wine. Show Less
