Thunder Stealer

As we continue to wish for Fall in Vermont to begin, we begin to start thinking about malt forward beers that are perfect for crisp days and cold nights. With this idea in mind we designed the perfect season crossover beer. This American Brown ale leads with the malt character with a variety of specialty malts. It has just enough hop character to provide another slight citrus note and the coffee rounds it out too delicious fall brown ale. Post-fermentation we added right around 2 lbs per barrel of Carrier Roasting Co. Mexican Chiapas whole bean coffee. When we first experienced this coffee it screamed huge notes of cocoa and chocolate with a slight spice character and we thought it was perfect for this beer. We like this beer a lot. Show Less
