Nice coffee and caramel/vanilla bourbon notes in the aroma, but it falls apart in the palate when the barrel presents as sour astringent whisky. A disservice to both oatmeal stout and Wild Turkey.

Weird brew - extremely thin, some oatmeal/roast, but dominated by an almost sour flavor that seems like its trying to imitate bourbon but is falling well short. Feels like there was a mistake somewhere along the line, lol. We are spoiled in MI.

Started out good, and after warming up a bit, it lost much of the bready/malty flavor. The aftertaste became sharply bitter. Very much opposite of the expectation when a stout warms.
