Vière - Piton Noir II

Pinot Noir grapes from Alsace were macerated and fermented spontaneously. Soured beer wort was blended into the juice and co-fermented by the indigenous grape yeast. The final product highlights a clean fermentation, with no brett or other microbial presence.

This is a balanced hybrid of beer and wine, with a strong presence of characteristic pinot noir notes, with light tanin. Residual complex malt sugars, not fermentable by grape yeast, add depth and body to this beer. Show Less
