When done well, lagers should balance sweetness with bitterness, showcase delicate hops without being overpowering, and finish cleanly enough to make you order a second round. It is our aim and deepest hope that this German Pilsner meets this criteria. It begins with a blend of Pilsen and Vienna malts, which provide a cracker-y, bready flavor and finishes with the best hop there is: Saaz. The Saaz hops provide a great pepper-y bite with some floral aromas and act as a great compliment to all beers, especially lager beers.
