We got to collaborate with our friends at Intrinsic once more and this time opted for a Milkshake IPA.

This style is pretty easy to define; it’s an IPA that tastes and looks sort of like a milkshake, or at least as much as a beer can taste and look like a milkshake.

Built like a Hazy IPA, Milkshake IPAs also get a heavy dose of lactose milk sugar to sweeten up the beer and lend some extra smoothness to the body. We decided to model this beer after a peach cobbler, so we added plenty of peach and vanilla to the beer after it finished fermenting. And that’s what you get straight up, some great peach and vanilla on the nose. Hops soon follow and compliment the wonderful softness of the body and there’s a light, fruity bitterness to balance out the glass. Show Less
