Frampaars (2018)

This release represents the fourth iteration of Frampaars, our Methode Traditionelle (MT) blend aged on 2 lbs/gal of purple raspberries from a local Wisconsin berry farm. We slightly increased the fruiting rate for this batch, and the raspberries themselves were a bit darker, sweeter, and juicier than the previous year, which we were excited about and makes an interesting comparison to earlier vintages. While blending, we aimed to complement this fruit harvest by building the complex flavor profile that’s become a signature of previous Frampaars releases and used an even split of two and three year-old barrels. “2018” indicates the year the beer was blended and the fruit harvest season.
