Invigorator Doppelbock

This is a strong, German style lager. The word doppel literally means double, but it’s not really a "double" strength bock beer. It is stronger than a regular bock though and also is heavier and more full bodied. The high alcohol content gives a warm fullness to the flavor and accents the somewhat sweet character of the beer. The Doppel is started with a base of Munich malt. It is colored and flavored by caramunich and CaraHell malts. The large portion of Munich malt is used for its distinctly German flavor and aroma, which is also enhanced by a little aromatic malt. The doppel is also flavored with moderate amounts of Nugget and German Tettnanger hops to balance the malty sweetness. Show Less
