Another hilariously aged bottle tonight that held up even better than I expected. Still tart, still woody, and the currants are lovely. It’s obviously been years since I’ve had it, but I reckon it’s basically the same. Happy New Year!

Fourth and darkest of the flight. Borderline chocolatey nose? Palate comingles tannic red wine and dark cooked fruit notes in a less coherent way. Much complexity but not my favourite of the aged sours on offer.
