Very good. caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, bourbon, toasted oak, brown bread, herbal, grass; light pepper, roast, dark fruit, yeast earthiness. Bit of diacetyl and papery oxidation. Fairly bitter. Warming/ boozy finish. Good style example

Haven’t had an ESB for awhile. This barrel aged one is pretty good. Tastes much more boozy than the ABV indicated. I’m gonna guess and say the barrel used was a rum barrel.
