The Excursionist

We had the fantastic opportunity to brew a beer with American beer legends Cascade Brewing, The Excursionist - Trans Pacific Pale Ale is the result! Brewed as simultaneously as we could manage in Beverton, Oregon, USA and little old Wellington, New Zealand.
Cascade's head brewer Mike hosted Shannon and Dale while they were in Portland on the way to a brewing conference, meanwhile Marcus and Rory stayed home and kept the brewery running.

The beer is a summerweight pale ale; light, spritzy and refreshing with a lovely aromatic of internationally smuggled hops! Might be a little different for those of you who have been lucky enough to try Cascade's range of world famous sour beer but they make great non sours too!
