Continental Drift

Many, many, many moons ago, all land was connected, and all beers existed harmoniously as one. Without regard to creed or classification, beers mingled freely, without jealousy or judgement. First tectonic shifts, then geopolitics, conspired to change this beautiful beertopia. Great oceans separated landmasses, and in a geologic minute artificial differences were invented, separating the once harmonious beers into styles. Some styles became popular and sold well, others went the way of dinosaurs.

Fortside’s Continental Drift Mexican Lager is an attempt to recapture ancient beertopia: a time when it was okay for a beer to be a Mexican Lager while retaining snippets of it’s Vienna Lager origins. A time when this diversity was not only accepted, but celebrated.
