The White Witch

Things are not always what they appear to be. How do you explain a “Golden Stout?” Stouts are made with dark malts, such as chocolate, roast, and black barley. They lend the color and flavors you would expect for the style. In this Golden Stout cocoa powder, cocoa nibs, dark roast coffee, and vanilla beans give the bear a stout flavor. But the lighter malts keep it golden. Is The White Witch really a stout? Probably not. But if you close your eyes and take a sip, your taste buds might think otherwise.
