Pokey the Pear

You can make many things out of Opuntia. Food, food
for your cows, medicine, jam, cochineal dye, liquor,
candy, liquor, handbags, liquor, shoes, and also liquor.
We, like many before us, chose beer. The beloved
cactus, native to the southwest of this country and all
the other countries southwest of this country, produces
a mellow, sweet, pear-shaped fruit with a very high
water content and lots of inedible spines. Many people
have put Prickly Pear in their beer. But we believe we
may be the first to have put beer into our Prickly Pear.
