Had this at a share when relatively new and I remember it being quite sweet. Found my bottle in the cellar and it’s a lot less sweet, but a wonderful brandy flavor, caramel, vanilla, and touch of booze-soaked raisins. And anise in the finish when warm.

Plenty of fig notes, rich fruit flavors prevalent. Dark, sweet and robust. Caramel and toffee flavors make it kinda chewy. Lots going on, all of it good, very flavorful.

quite an experience! Very thick/syrupy, not as traditional as some but delicious and enjoyable. Reminds me a bit of some of the expensive Alaskan beers. Wish I had purchased more bottles despite the price!
