Damp grain nose. Funky aroma straight into flavor. Bit of a sour slap to the senses but in such a nice way. Undercurrents of spice and herbs. Vegetal, rhubarb? Wild fermentation esters and tannins. Finishes dry, flavorful and counter-intuitively, fruity.
