Pours brown red, lots of head. Foam sticks to glass and stays. Caramel, biscuit malt flavour. Tons of resinous notes. Floral hop. Strong finish, but doesn't feel like the 9.5% it is.

Damn. That's big flavor. Almost reminds me of that spicy Fin du Monde but on steroids, complete with a Belgian yeast finish. Reasonably smooth, but with quite an initial bite, and the booze level isn't hidden - I find it detracts a bit.

Yup, right I’m my wheel house. Stiff marshmallowy foam. Strong bitter, piney but a solid malt backbone to go with it. An interesting subtle spice. Dangerously drinkable for a 9.5er. Thanks again Moonens for the delivery!
