At a year it seems to bring out some of the tertiary flavors of the malt. Slightly fruity with a bit of salt in the finish.

Maybe I got a bum bottle, but sadly this one was just not good, in my opinion. I’ve heard good things about the brewer and wanted to like it. I don’t know if it was supposed to be sour but that was the strong flavor, not maltiness.
