Unremarkable IPA which did not remind me of HK milk tea at all, maybe just a hint of Ceylon tea in the aftertaste. VERY gassy. Felt bloated after one sip.

So, to mix them. Actually, while they are great together, I think I prefer the strength of the Foam coffee on its own.

So... I tried them HK style together, as promoted by Foam. Erm...superb. Big shock really. The tea shines through and the coffee is bitter on top, but not overpowering. Really surprised, but this is amazing. Foam, this has to be your standout signature.

Looks like milk tea. It's canny enough, but last time I had it, I was still under the taste influence of a Baoju. There's lots of cloying mouthfeel and early on some fruit and spice to be replaced by milkiness in later stages. A morning beer I would say.

Foam Beer tasting evening with Dr Hermann. It actually looks like milk tea. Milkyish with some spice and citrus. It's a decent brew, though my taste buds are still stinging after the Baoju. Dr H says 3.25 stars.
