Norwegian Saison

Norwegian Saison is a farmhouse style ale that has a complexity found in few other brews here at the pub. Pilsner malt combined with a few other specialty malts creates a straw colored, medium-light bodied ale. Most farmhouse ales use either a Belgian or French yeast for fermentation. Ours differs by using a Norwegian yeast that ferments at super hot temps, yet still producing a "clean" beer that is totally unique. The use of the Mandarina Bavaria hops, Chinese coriander and kaffir combined with the malt and yeast, create aromas and flavors that can be perceived as flowery-citrus with a subtle funk flavor and aroma found in most farmhouse ales Show Less
